Capturing high quality and creative images of products provides photographers with an excellent opportunity to monetise their work. Our Product Photography Workshop gives students the tools to create fantastic images of a range of products, including foods, which will stand out from the crowd.

If you are looking to enhance your photographic skills and learn how to take sharp, impressive images of a variety of products then this one day workshop, comprised of both theoretical and practical sessions, is the course for you.

Thanks to our policy of teaching in small groups, you will receive all the attention and assistance that you require, and there will be ample time to cover any questions that you have.

• Light: types and use (artificial and natural light)
• Controlling shadows and reflections
• Backgrounds

What you will need:

All that you will need is a basic knowledge of camera lenses, aperture, shutter speed and ISO including exposure modes. If you do not possess this knowledge then why not start off with our 2 day Digital Photography for Beginners course to get you up to speed.

A Digital SLR or professional Compact camera with full manual exposure and telephoto lens is also required, but don’t worry, if you do not currently own a camera you are still welcome to attend the course and use one of our spare semi-professional DSLR cameras. Please notify us before the day of your course if you will require the use of our cameras so that we can ensure we have something available for you. Lighting equipment will be provided on the day.
